SUCCESSFUL COOPERATION OF NIS HEALTH CENTER AND PALILULA MUNICIPALITY

In order to manage better organization level of primary health care in Nis and improving the quality of health care services, on Tuesday, 22 2015, the meeting of the management of the Health Center Nis with the President of Palilula Municipality Boban Džunić was organized. At this meeting, which was organized by the Director of the Health Center Nis, PhD Milorad Jerkan, the work of health workers and the needs on the ground in Palilula - the work of ambulance stations in urban and rural areas was analyzed, but also the health needs of villagers who do not have health clinic care.

Approaching of health care to the residents, a program is realized which provides greater financial savings, and this cooperation is of Palilula with the Health Center in Nis example of good practice. At this meeting, an agreement was reached regarding the plans for the upcoming period.

In the association with the Health Center - Prevention center Nis, Department of Palilula during this year was organized several health campaigns, lectures and activities for the residents of urban areas, such as the "Bazaar of health" and in July and August was conducted the activities in rural area Municipality - "Closer to the patients", which involved people in ten rural settlements of the municipality. Team of medical staff of health, providing medical services, taking medical history, clinical examination, ECG at home, determine the level of blood sugar. With promotional activity "coming close to the patients," and checking the health of residents in the rural area of Palilula, specially have been analyzed elderly patients, with difficulties or those completely immobile and dependent on others' help and care. According to the assessment of the doctors, the condition of patient, treated under this action, usually are diagnosed with high blood pressure and elevated blood sugar. The ability to control their own health, only within this action in Palilula Municipality, took the 271 patients in the countryside areas.
